  • Today is my sixth day at Camp Ozark. So far i have been through various training sessions. Lifegaurding was intense, and woodworking was a lot of fun. I think its going to be a very cliche summer if i spend most of my time lifegaurding and building stuff at summer camp... but i wouldnt like it any other way.

We had mandatory time off, so today we came into the metropolis of Mt. Ida to hit up the public library, thrift shop, and eat lunch at the Dairyette...

Tonight the real orientation begins and its 7 days of camp for counselors... its going to be AWESOME

i know this is just a recap and not a real great post... but i want to leave you with this

i am starting to understand the notion of happiness, and its source... external sources provide for temporal happiness, and true joy comes only from heavenly hope... just a thought, being that god is known through recognizing him as the source of all happiness, and it is only through recognizing this truth that we can know or seek joy in his creation, namely the external stuff previously mentioned

anyway... much love

Caddo Heart,

Tal
